German Short Haired Pointer Puppy 'Isla' Fine Art Giclee Print
Isla the GSP puppy was the model for the original artwork from which this print was produced. The original artwork was hand drawn in 2016 using Faber Castell and Unison pastel on Ingres paper. These prints have been giclée printed onto Hahnemuhle Photorag paper which is textured just like pastel paper. Even as the artist, I find it difficult to tell the original from the prints.
All prints are hand signed and numbered in a limited edition series of 250.
Unframed prints are not mounted, but supported by a sturdy backing board and covered with clear wrapping. Optional frame is a black with a delicate grain texture, and completed with an ivory mount.

10% of sales from these prints will be donated to German Shorthaired Pointer Rescue UK.
A brief history of giclée printing
Giclée printing is a fine art digital printing method using specialist archival pigment inks and acid-free papers; creating gallery-quality inkjet prints with excellent depth of colour, longevity and stability.
The print process involves squirting microscopic dots of pigment ink onto high quality fine art or photographic papers using sophisticated high-end inkjet printers with exceptional accuracy, wide tonal range and colour gamut.
Studies have shown that Giclee Prints colour vividness can last in excess of 200 years with tests by independent bodies such as Wilhelm Research and printer manufacturers such as Epson. This gives assurance to collectors and art buyers of this type of printing method.
